Im losing my drive at work as we shifted to full time. I hust dont see the point in working 6 hours when i could do my job in 4. But thats giverment job for you. We stagnant

I saw grandma today and it occured to me what

Really means..

I saw my grandma drinking water and chokin. Unable to control the flownof the water as it enters her books 

Jerky movements..

Wanting to talk.. not being understood

Sleeping to forget reality

Ten years on this state..

crippling fear

Taking to sister to get her vaccine.. she is lightheaded..  pressure is low because she's so afraid of the needle..

Her peessure dropped..

Wow  the mind is sooo powerful. 

It can make false things real and real things false..

It controls our biology..

What could be so empowering 

what we see, what dogs see.

I got a dog three months ago, and although she is house trained (sorta?) the past couple of days, I've struggled with her peeing in front of the bathroom. I found it odd that she went for the same spot even though I had removed the bathroom rug. I was sure that there were no smells because I had washed the rug and hadn't placed it in its place yet. it was drying out. until I read today that dog can actually see pee!
it all stems from the dogs ability to see UV light and because of this UV vision, dogs can see more stars in the sky, anything that glows in black light, including pee marks.
which leads me to believe that the bathroom mat AND the floor needed cleaning... 
finding this fact has led me to learn something cooler. dogs can see the earth's magnetic field!

"The answer lies in a special molecule found in the dog's eyes. Cryptochromes are molecules that are sensitive to light and can be found in animals, plants, and bacteria.

When we look at animals, these molecules play a role in the aminal's circadian functions. Cryptochrome 1a is the element found in birds that gives them their ability to sharply sense the magnetic fields on earth. Research now shows that dogs have cryptochrome 1a as well and this is what makes it likely dogs can see these invisible magnetic fields. 

This special molecule gives the animal the ability to effectively navigate and orient themselves in whatever location they are in".

funny thing is, dogs align themselves with the earth's magnetic field when they go potty...

After examining 70 dogs — made up of 37 breeds — over two years, 1,893 defecations and 5,582 urinations, researchers found that under “calm magnetic field conditions,” dogs preferred to “excrete with the body being aligned along the north-south axis,” avoiding east-west altogether. Dogs were observed in a free-roaming environment, meaning they were not leashed and not influenced by walls or roads that would influence linear movement".

Hello there!

Im launching this blog early because I'm excited.

Not sure if this blog will go public, but if it does... this post is for you, whoever you sre out there, to get to know me a little bit..

I have been a blogger ever since i can remember. It's an outlet for thoughts, lingering regrets, bottled up anger, and feelings. A safe space. More like a therapy session and it really helps me grow. If i choose to be honest with my thoughts that is..

Blogging used to be a social interaction, kind of like twitter but sith more than 140 characters. A popular blogger was the fashionista for the day.. i feel old now

My passion (one of them) is writing and i realised that writing for myself takes away from the craft because i get lazy with my words and stingy with sharing my thoughts so over the years i turned it privat and clamped myself into this virtual impenetrable shell.. But. This is 2021. The year of doing and being and so here i am.. creating this blog, being myself and putting myself out there, outside of my comfort zone.. 

(Though truth be told, this might not get deep and personal because the intention of this blog is to share new information about.. whatever, Every. Single. Day)

One of my goals is to write more (daily actually because consistency is key) and learning something new everyday.

Thus, this blog was the marriage of these two goals..

I often think..well, what did i learn today.  And I could swear that I read an interesting article or heard an audio book but  for the life of me I cannot recall or form that idea cohesively.
